Jimmy Rosemond
Entertainment guru Jimmy Rosemond, who is credited with orchestrating some 20 million records sold over the last decade and hit record producer Bryce Wilson (of R&B duo Groove Theory) co-founder Czar Entertainment after partnering on several successful business ventures over the years. “My motto is simple, we take raw talent and clean it up and introduce them to the world” said Jimmy Rosemond Ceo of Czar Entertainment.
In the early days Czar Entertainment was known as Henchmen Productions and was credited for producing such hits as “SHOOP” for SALT & PEPPER. They later Produced top #5 pop hit “TELL ME” with Groove Theory that was signed to Henchmen Production and Jimmy Rosemond executive produced with Paris Davis. Though on a role with hit records Rosemond co-created HOW CAN I BE DOWN a Music conference that peaked in the 90′s on South Beach, the foremost urban music conference of the decade. Rosemond felt it was his duty to give back and give the aspiring artist an opportunity to come to one mecca to meet those behind the scene and partake in seminars. Czar later moved into consulting various record companies and worked very closely with Kedar at Motown Records and Barry Hankerson at Blackground Records.
These relationships open the company to work with various artist such as Timbaland, Aaliyah, Tank, among others. It also allowed Jimmy Rosemond to executive produce both platinum soundtracks Exit Wounds and Romeo Must Die. Using his inflluence outside the music industry Czar was enlisted to negotiate Mike Tyson fight against Lennox Lewis. “I just use the same negotiating prowess I had in making deals in the music business and found out that all business is relative.” said Rosemond about the boxing world. Czar later started managing boxers such as Andre Berto, who holds the WBC title and Hector Camacho JR. And continue to work with Tyson in his transition from boxing and into entertainment.
Czar also manages The Game and Sean Kingston. Now a days there’s no telling what Czar has their hands in behind the scene, their skills goes beyond the music business. their most recent ventures have included documentaries and movies, to name a few: THE ORIGINAL 50 CENT and BELLY 2 starring the GAME. Most recent works are COOKOUT 2 & DEAD PRESIDENT 2. The industry is changing and Czar doesn’t have a problem with adjusting and progressively moving forward.
